I was born in Texas and lived much of my life there, and love that I get to come back and visit a few times every year, often to take photographs (check out some of my favorites above and below)!
Believe it or not, Summer is my very favorite time to visit. For one, I’m a little bit of a freak and actually love the heat and humidity (minus the mosquitoes). But my annual summer trip to Texas also corresponds to my family’s annual reunion on the Guadalupe River near Kerrville, an event that has meant the start of summer to me since I was 5 years old!
This year I’ll be in Texas a little longer than usual and would love to get in a few portrait sessions while I’m down. Texas light in the summer is so lovely – the lingering orange sunset is amazing, and one of my favorite kinds of light to photograph in. Colorado is stunningly beautiful, of course, but with 14,000 foot peaks to the west, the sunset just isn’t quite the same as the ones you get in wide open spaces!
So, this summer I am offering portrait sessions for $95.00 between the dates of June 3rd and June 12th. My schedule isn’t completely finalized yet so I still have some felxibility in setting up sessions, but I’ll be in the Austin area, the Victoria/ Gulf Coast area, and the Kerrville area during my stay. For $95.oo you get:
- 50 minute photo session with me for up to 5 immediate family members
- Your choice of 2 digital files or 2 8×10′s
- Password-protected online proofing
I also book weddings in Texas, and since I have lots of people I would love to come stay with, there’s no travel fee for most areas in the State. Planning a wedding? I’d love to meet up with you while I’m down!
