I'm Brooke. I have two amazing kids who take my breath away every single day. I am married to my best friend in the whole world. I have the world's best cat and the world's most maddening (but possibly cutest) dog.
I'm a pinterest-addict. I read all the time, mostly fiction. I'm not a snob, though: I am also guilty of streaming entire seasons of embarrassingly- bad reality shows on Linette in a single month.
Oh, and I have the world's best job - I'm a wedding and portrait photographer.
Why I love my job:
I love photography for the same reason I love reading, or staring up at the sky, or listening to amazing music or learning something new: it puts life in perspective and helps me focus on what's important and see how much beauty there is in the world.
I have a job that lets me spend every working day doing what I love most while surrounded by love and joy and amazing people, whether it's the beginning of a new marriage or the fresh start of a brand new baby or spending an afternoon giggling in the park with a four-year-old. How can I not believe that I have the most amazing job in the world?
