All about Boudoir sessions…

I get asked, “So, what exactly is boudoir?” all the time. Sometimes I have a hard time explaining it in a few words to someone who hasn’t actually seen one, but basically boudoir photography is about celebrating a woman’s beauty and sensuality. The resulting photos are most definitely sexy, but also very artistic. The goal is to capture something about the subject’s personality, not just her body. There are  a few options for boudoir packages. The photos above were all taken at a boudoir party – this is a really fun way to have your session! You gather your favorites girlfriends and pick a date, we set up at a location of your choice (your home, or a hotel suite…cocktails optional!), and you take turns in front of the camera – it’s amazing what your besties can do for your confidence! Upon request, I can bring along a professional makeup artist and hairstylist to help you complete the look. Boudoir parties are best scheduled one to two months in advance. The cost is $200 a person, including a 4×6  or 6×6 little black book of your favorite images from the session. A minimum of 3 girls is required. Hotel suites cost extra, but I’m happy to arrange the booking – and you can keep it that night for a girls night on the town – you’ll already be looking your best…why not go out? :)

Individual bookings are also available, and are $300 for a session including a little black book.

Digital Files and reprints are all purchased separately.

Please note that all boudoir images remain 100% private. Obviously, I much appreciate the brave souls that choose to let me share a few in my portfolio, but I fully respect the personal and private nature of these images.
